Celebrating the
Goodness of
Humanity

Core Beliefs
Our business is grounded in the belief that everything, including Highland Lake Resort, is a blessing from a loving Creator.  We are grateful to co-create a space which enables people to relax and enjoy themselves in this lakeside haven.
We fundamentally believe in the goodness of humanity and want to cultivate a space for people to experience a deeper sense of peace, unity & joy.

Our Rock Star Team
2022 rings in our fifth season!
The crew we have is amazing and we are so grateful for their versatility in stepping up into other jobs as needed.   We acknowledge that life is busy and often wrought with challenges, but if we focus our attention on the present, what is good and holy in the moment, miracles happen and grace abounds. We want Highland to "Celebrate the Goodness of Humanity" by honoring and delighting in one another and our guests.  We hope you feel our intention and goodness radiate throughout the property & your stay.

~ TO HIGHLAND LAKE RESORT STAFF ~
It's an honor working with you!
Thank you for the gift that you are, and for all you bring to my life
and the Highland Lake Resort family!

Groundskeeping
Angler (aka Rich Proia) has been coming to Bridgton since the 1970's.  Summer memories were filled with fishing, skiing, swimming and exploring the beauty of Maine.  In 1992 Rich purchased land in Bridgton and spent the next decade building his own home.  Retiring from a career as a maintenance technician, for child care centers, he comes to our facility with abundant experience.  He lives with his lovely wife and two labs only minutes from the resort.
General Manager
Welcome aboard Bobbie Arsenault! What a treasure we have found! Bobbie brings over a decade of management experience in the hospitality industry and has participated in numerous volunteer services for children and families throughout Maine. Brilliant, kind, beautiful and quite serious as her mug shot indicates. Thanks for joining our team Bobbie!
Housekeeping
Wally (aka Walter Morrison) has worn many hats and we're glad he's landed in our neck of the woods!  Former Navy (thank you for your service!), medical examiner, bouncer, actor, golfer and many other colorful careers and adventures.  Walter's a treasure trove of adventure stories,  and blesses us with his consistently joyful nature.

Housekeeper
Marie is a lovely, hard working lady from Maine who has homeschooled two amazing sons.  She lives with her husband in Bridgton and enjoys many artistic & crafty pursuits.   Sewing, especially quilting, paper crafts and baking are among her favorites.  We are blessed to have her strong yet gentle nature as part of our Highland Team.
Housekeeper
Georgi, also from Sophia, Bulgaria has explored several European countries.  His studies in Bulgaria are focused on the mechanical engineering aspects of transportation and specifically has a love & interest in trains.  Like Radina, he is a dog lover and misses his four-legged back home.  Georgi & Radina love hiking, biking and discovering all the hidden treasures of nature.
Housekeeper
Radina hails from Sophia, Bulgaria.  She has traveled much throughout Europe and is eager to explore the eastern USA.  Radina is studying international relations specifically with an interest in France.  These courageous young people left the comforts of their families, language & culture to embrace adventures in the States.
