Bring your Own Boat
We request all guests to launch from the town boat launch as they have a proper wash and inspection station. New for 2024 there will be a $25 daily boat slip fee & you must call and reserve your spot. Trailers can be left in a lot adjacent to our boat launch. Paddle crafts, which can be launched from our dock, must be inspected for milfoil and invasive species. Those needing to charge boat batteries overnight may do so for $20 a day. Life vests must be worn for people under 16 and strongly encouraged for all! |
Swimming
Just remember children 12 and under must have adult supervision on the property, especially near the water. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Contact the office for complimentary flotation devices and beach towels (please don't use bath towels). Just return the beach towels to the office after you check out. |
Boating
We have 2 canoes, 8 kayaks, 4 paddle boards, 1 row boat, one pedal boat. Simply grab a life jacket in the shed by the waterfront, a paddle on top of the boat racks and off you go for 90 minutes. Guests can use multiple boats in a day and extend use if others aren't waiting. PLEASE return paddles and jackets where you found them. |
Fishing
We have fishing poles for guests located on the left side of life jacket shack (repurposed ice shack). Cast off from our shores or take one of our complimentary boats to check your luck around five mile long Highland Lake. 1/4 mile away Unc'l Lunkers sells bait. For info on purchasing a license (daily, weekly and more) visit the Maine.gov website |
Fire Pit Areas
We added 2 additional pits in 2021 bringing the total to 6 fire pits on site. We sell firewood & starter kits for $8 bundle at front desk. Firewood from Maine is allowed but no out of State wood is permitted. |
Biking
Sanitize before and after and leave by garage when through (so we can sanitize also). Grab a bike, helmet, bike lock and head downtown to check out shops or go for a hike. Bike locks are available at the front desk. As people of all sizes and skill levels use bikes please ride around in the parking lot to make sure it's functional prior to departure. |
Labyrinth
For over 4,000 years old these have been used as a walking meditation. There are no rules on how to use. One suggestion is before entering to consider a contemplative question, prayer, or favorite image to hold in your mind and just follow the path. Upon reaching the center you may pause a few moments before unwinding your way back out. |
Picnic Areas with Grills
There are four Hibachi grills by the waterfront area. An extra large one is located in our "group gathering" area with picnic tables that accommodate up to 16 people on picnic tables and a few Adirondack chairs. |
Lawn Games
We offer corn hole, bocce ball, croquet, swings, badminton, frisbees and more. If you have any requests for lawn games please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. We rotate games on the lawn so we may even have what you desire in our garage. |
Enchanted Forest
Born the summer of 2021! We will add more elements each year until the space is teaming with interactive obstacles & art. Partnering with Nature to co-create a whimsical & joyful atmosphere. |

Guests are creating beautiful peace/prayer flags. We will assemble and have a 100' rope of all that love, positivity and kindness by the waterfront . Thank you for enriching our property with your time, love & art! |
