Town of Bridgton, ME

About Bridgton, ME

Bridgton, Maine, is a fascinating town. It’s the western-most town in Cumberland County (which includes Portland and Freeport) and the service center for the Western Maine area. The last decade has seen a revitalization in the town. Starting with a new, state-of-the-art hospital and elementary school, Bridgton has seen the arrival of a new Dunkin’ Donuts, Hannaford Supermarket, 3-screen movie theater, the Rufus Porter Museum, McDonalds Restaurant, and a 66-acre, downtown walking park.

Or, yopu can enjoy the classic architecture of many of Bridgton’s 17th and 18th century buildings, its local art scene, musical events, and cultural attractions which illustrate the uniqueness of the area.

Check out “Area Attractions” for more information about places to eat, shop, and sightsee.
