a young girl lulled to sleep by the sweetly sung ballads of joni, carly, dylan and james… it is no wonder she picked up that guitar.

Fiona grew up playing flute through Mountain Top Music Center, and went on to study music at Loyola University. While in New Orleans she began playing at Irish sessions, and now plays and sings with a few groups around New England.
Siena grew up playing classical violin and viola and switched to fiddle in college when she discovered the Boston Scottish and Cape Breton music scene.
Siena has enjoyed branching out into Irish music with the White Mountain Ceilí Band. FMI: https://whitemountainceiliband.com/contact/ FYI: Ceili is a traditional Scottish and Irish social gathering.

A special community connection: The excitement doesn't stop with the music! We're proud to share that one of the band members, Jen Deraspe, spent over two decades as the beloved founder and owner of Nurture through Nature eco-retreat center in Denmark, Maine. As co-owner of Highland Lake Resort, I've had the privilege of following Jen's rich journey in bringing a message of wholeness, healing, reverence and joy to our region. Although she has since moved to the Portland area, she remains deeply committed to her work, leading spiritual, nature-based retreats, and facilitating Qi Gong and drumming circles. In addition, she has created the Women's School for Spiritual Warriors which creates a safe, transformative space for women's empowerment and leadership. FMI: https://www.spiralsofwellbeing.com/
