Gallery 302, an artists' cooperative , features the work of artists and artisans working in a wide variety of media. Open daily, Gallery 302 is located in Bridgton, heart of the beautiful Lakes Region area of Maine. In addition to showcasing the work of member artists, the gallery hosts solo shows of Guest Artists, and offers a lively series of classes (CLICK HERE FOR CLASS SCHEDULE), lectures, and Plein Air painting sessions. Summer activities include Open Studio Day, Art in Bloom, and the Camp Show. Art in the Park, an annual celebration of art and craft in beautiful Shorey Park, is now the highlight of the summer art scene in Bridgton. The Gallery serves a wide range of talented artists, providing support, opportunities for growth and interaction, and a community outlet for their work. The Rufus Porter Museum was founded in 2005 to celebrate the life of Rufus Porter (1792-1884), a painter, inventor, musician, and writer. The museum began by preserving and exhibiting Rufus Porter Style wall murals, and since has expanded to encompass Porter’s other accomplishments, and to promote the preservation of early 19th Century Maine and New England culture for future generations. We invite you to share in Porter's uniquely American blend of creativity, ingenuity, practicality, and energy by coming to explore Rufus Porter's era through the museum.

The Stevens Brook Trail is a two-mile path between Highland Lake and Long Lake in Bridgton, Maine. The trail follows the Stevens Brook as it meanders through downtown Bridgton past scenic and historic natural areas.

Here at the Magic Lantern, we try to offer the widest variety of movies in our theaters. Unfortunately, we do not own the movies we play -- the film studios do. They choose which theaters will play which movies. With some films, the film studios will only make a limited number of copies because they believe that a limited number of people want to see that movie. Since these films are not released in large quantities, they are in high demand with other (larger) theaters and are very hard to come by.

Bridgton Highlands is an open-to-the-public golf and tennis facility that offers four tennis courts and a beautiful and challenging 18-hole golf course with great mountain views. We are located in the heart of Maine's Lake Region in southwestern Maine near the New Hampshire border. We have four tennis courts, and our tennis program is led by noted tennis professional, Bob Kimnach. The Lakes Environmental Association is a membership-supported nonprofit founded in 1970 by residents concerned about the water quality of Long Lake in Naples. Now LEA watches out for 37 lakes and ponds in western Maine and is influential in protecting lakes and watersheds statewide. LEA’sfive-person staff, its board, members and volunteers work every day to protect our waters, because water quality is affected by what happens throughout the watershed – in every town, every development, every house lot.

Loon Echo Land Trust is collaborating with the towns of Denmark, Bridgton and Sebago to protect the 1600 acre Perley Mills property in order to create a community forest. The majority of the land will be owned and managed by the Town of Denmark, pending voter approval, with a conservation easement held by Loon Echo. The property contains three miles of the Narrow Gauge Trail, a state ITS 89 snowmobile and regional ATV network, as well as Pickerel Pond and Willett Pond. With many important ecological, recreational and economic features, protecting this parcel as public open space and managed forestland is an asset to the surrounding communities.
